MEDIROM Group to Exhibit at Global Innovation Conference “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026” April 27 (Mon) – April 29 (Wed), 2026 | Tokyo Big Sight

Tokyo, Japan – April 24, 2026 – MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kouji Eguchi; Nasdaq Capital Market: NASDAQ: MRM) announced that it will exhibit at the global innovation conference “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026,” to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 27 to April 29, 2026.

Organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, this event is one of Asia’s largest startup conferences, bringing together startups, investors, and major corporations from around the world. MEDIROM positions this event as a key opportunity to expand its global presence and brand recognition.

MEDIROM has partnered with Tools for Humanity (TFH), a global technology company, to promote the adoption of “World” in Japan. World ID is an anonymous and secure tool that lets individuals prove they are a real, unique human online without revealing anything else about themselves.

At the exhibition, MEDIROM will install the Orb to facilitate human verifications. The Orb is a device that allows an individual to verify that they are a unique human, and create a secure and anonymous World ID on their phone.

By leveraging its nationwide network of relaxation studios, including “Re.Ra.Ku” to promote the adoption of “World ID,” MEDIROM aims to develop a next-generation healthcare platform that seamlessly integrates online and offline services.

In addition, through the development of proprietary products such as the battery-free smart tracker “MOTHER Bracelet®︎,” MEDIROM continues to strengthen its capabilities in the collection and utilization of healthcare data.

MEDIROM will continue to expand its business in the healthcare × technology domain, striving to enhance its medium- to long-term corporate value.

■MOTHER Bracelet®︎, Recharge-Free Smart Tracker

MOTHER Bracelet®︎ is the world's first* 24/7 recharge-free smart tracker, powered by advanced technology from a Silicon Valley-based tech business that generates electricity from the temperature difference between the body and the surrounding air. As it doesn't require recharging, it eliminates the data loss that can occur when a device is taken off for charging. This single device can record five fundamental health metrics: heart rate, calories burned, body surface temperature, step count, and sleep.
